You are responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of security management at our clients.
As an internal auditor you will monitor the digital security of our clients, thereby contributing to the effective operation of the information management system. You test the quality based on the ISO and/or NEN and identify and report risks. The clients vary in size from small to large and/or international companies. The audits are performed on site at the customer or remotely and have an average duration of one week. After this week you report and present your findings to the management of the client. You will mainly audit against the ISO 27001, NEN7510 or the BIO. There are also several technical standards we test organizations against, such as SOC CMM, CIS, TISAX and COBIT.
Before starting an audit, you prepare an internal audit plan together with the client. This outlines the schedule and you agree preconditions with the client. Then you do what auditors do: lots of interviews! you handle those interviews diligently in order to find out the true status of the management system and measures. You work based on evidence, adversarial process and good questioning. Then you write relevant, realistic audit findings that really help the client.
As an Internal auditor you are part of the Security Advisory team. As a team we always strive for a pragmatic approach where the advice is implemented in a workable solution. We avoid lengthy and bureaucratic documentation and focus on achieving the highest and most pragmatic result possible. The team consists of Business Security Consultants who each have their own expertise. In addition, we work closely with the other teams within Northwave and always strive for an integrated approach with clients.

As an Accountmanager you are the sparring partner for the client and the first point of contact. By asking the right questions you know what the client really needs. You present the Northwave portfolio convincingly and proactively. This makes you successful and helps you to ‘bring the deals home’. You monitor that we ‘do what we say and say what we do’. Together with the colleagues from other teams you take care of the quotations, client presentations and contracts. You ensure seamless transfers to other teams and the operation. You are responsible for a smooth sales process in which you inform all internal stakeholders in time so they can adequately take their responsibilities. You will report to our Director Sales.
Throughout all Northwave the urge exists to continuously improve ourselves. The sales team is essential for this and works daily on our strong reputation and clear proposition. They focus on clients throughout the Benelux and support the German sales team. Most of our clients find their way towards us, but we also recruit clients ourselves. It’s important to us to be a reliable and strategical partner for our clients.
