Security officer

What you do

You are responsible for the implementation and execution of risk-based security management. You ensure the customer has a grip on Security, you do this for multiple clients simultaneously. 

As a Security Officer you ensure that the client’s security management is safeguarded in a continuous cycle. You understand their biggest risks and create a security management plan to mitigate these. You do this with a holistic approach to security, so you know when the client needs technical or behavioral measures besides their business-related measures. You closely work together with our Bytes and Behaviour teams and are the sparringpartner for the management of the client. The client can focus on her core business, because you guide her towards the right security management actions. You report to our Manager Security and Privacy Office. 

The team

As a Security Officer you are certainly not alone, but you work together with a team of experts so that you can continue to develop your professional knowledge. There are various roles within the Security and Privacy office. The first line of support is provided by the Office. They focus on the continuous operation of the client regarding incidents and questions. The second line acts on a more tactical level and support the Security Officer in preparing and executing security management tasks. The Security Officer is also the primary contact person and strategic partner for the customer. You report to the Manager of the Security and Privacy Office.

Expectations

What we expect from you

  • Knowledge of management systems, such as ISO27001
  • Knowledge of business processes
  • An independent and well-structured way of working
  • Networking skills
  • CISSP/CISM/CISA/CCSP/CIPP-E/CIPM or related certifications are an advantage, but not necessary 
  • Master the Dutch and English language
  • But most important, passion for security
