Get submerged in a realistic crisis situation and work your way out of it, together with other participants. This takes place in Vinkeveen on the 2nd of April between 09:00 and 12:00.

My first cyber crisis
How do you cope with a cyber attack that shuts down your entire company when you have just been appointed CIO? Daniel Fiechter is the CIO of Stobag AG (Zurich, Switzerland) and lecturer Digital Transformation at the Swiss “Fernfach Hochschule. His company is a leading manufacturer of sunscreens. Autumn 2019 all the Stobag factories across the globe came to a complete standstill after a cyber attack. He talks about his experience and shares his leanings first hand.

The biggest operator in the cloud is making a play for security leadership. What does Microsoft’s Sentinel really bring on board to protect your business? Business continuity relies on a well maintained architecture, with strongly developed detect and response capabilities. Though the insight is not new, many struggle to really improve on cyber resilience. How to make this shift tangible? Jethro van Dorp, enterprise security architect at EN4S Consultancy, explains how DSM uses Northwave’s cyber resilience framework to improve security culture, governance and tooling with resilience as a logical outcome.

Red Teaming lessons – Why you’ll fail
To prevent a crisis, many companies perform an annual Red Team test with our help. In a Red Team, a team of ethical hackers gets no more but a simple target objective: Go get the crown jewels! Dealing with a crisis situation is often hard. Fear, stress and panic can take over at the precise moment where you need to be cool and collective to make it through. This is why we train on crisis management. Tom Brabers, CSO of Expat Preventive, takes it one notch further. As an ex special forces officer, he trains company employees that work in tricky areas in dealing with extreme situations around such as kidnapping, armed threats and hi-jacking.
